How
we operate
At
Completely Care we are fully committed to providing our clients
and workers with a ‘genuine’ high quality service
based on a straight forward honest and consultative approach.
Every one of our clients can expect our fullest attention
at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our recruitment and selection process has
been designed to comply with current ‘Skills for Care’
and Ofsted recommendations. It also complies with existing
equal opportunities legislation and supports the provision
of diversity in the work place. The procedures have also been
audited and approved by a representative of Oxfordshire County
Council Social Services; we are listed as an approved supplier.
The recruitment process is undertaken and
completed in full by every worker provided by Completely Care,
without exception. At Completely Care we provide complete
confidence to our clients and the best support and protection
of the children.
In summary, the recruitment process includes
the following:
- Fully completed application form including:
personal details, full employment history, education, qualifications
and training, personal health questionnaire, a health and
safety declaration and criminal record declaration in accordance
with the home office circular. Candidates are also able
to sign a 48 hour limitation waiver with regard to current
working time regulation
- Verification of identity and eligibility
to work in the UK
- In depth, face to face, competency
based interview
- Enhanced CRB check including POVA/POCA
check where applicable
- Certificates of training and qualifications
(verification gained where required)
- A minimum of two written references
(one from most recent employer)
- Basic induction training, issue of
staff handbook and G.S.C.C. Codes of Practice
If we would not be comfortable
with a prospective candidate providing care to one of our
own children – we will not provide them to you.
